Well let me start off by saying I am fairly new to health and fitness. I am a 33 year old police officer, father of 3. We have recently been given a height/weight requierment and I need to lose about 35 pounds. I have 6 months to lose the weight or I will not get my yearly pay raise. More importantly, I need to lose weight for the health benefits.
This is what i have did so far.
I bought a new mountain bike to ride daily. I paid a new gym membership for 1 year. I read alot prior to starting and bought a fair amount of supplements. I picked up the following:
1. Multi Vitamin
2. Flax seed pills
3. Fish Oil Pills
4. VPX Meltdown
5. vitamin C pills
6. Muscle Milk (Chocolate)
7. I also bought creatine and glutamine, but after reading further, not sure i will take this due to some of the concerns that ive heard of off the site.
I work midnights so i have to doctor my diet and working out around my schedule at work. I would like any and all input you guys can give me to help me with this goal of mine. I would like to lose 35 pounds by June 1.
