Whats up all? I will be starting a new seasonal job here next week since my normal job will be slow this winter. Its a night shift. Pretty strenuous. Ill be loading up trailers for Target 10 hours a day 4 days a week. I plan on doing my WO routine before work around 11:30am-12pm. My hours will be 4pm-2am.

Good thing is that I have access to a microwave and fridge. Bad thing is I only get 1 lunch break. My body is used to being fed every 2-3 hours now for 3 years. My questions are:

What good healthy snacks can I use for 2 meals that will be quick eating?

Should I eat a ton of carbs since this work is strenuous?

Up my calorie intake by about 500?

Trying to gain some muscle (not fat of course).

Congrats on the job bro! I work swing shifts myself, I do not get lunches just a couple minutes here and there. I double up on the protein shakes. I drink 3 in a 8 hour shift along with water and some times sliced turkey breast. Good luck!!!!! :winkfinger:

I eat sliced deli turkey and string cheese alot in between classes. It's a good protein filling snack to get me by for the next few hours. Packing a bag full of nuts is another option. I still wouldn't over load on carbs, yet since it is strenuous you are probably safe to consume more than before. I would also recommend filling up on more protein shakes, those are quick as well. Congrats on the new job!
