New member looking for advice....

Just joined this site yesterday and already glad I did. My question: I'm 158 lbs, 6' and I'm looking to get to 165. I have heard 2 different ways to do this. My nutritionist has told me that I have to eat my weight in protien in order to gain weight. I've also been told I have to increase my calorie intake in order to gain weight. I work out with iron 4 days a week and do cardio 3 days a week. I am also going to take supplements. Any feedback, suggestions, and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

tatdawg, you just need to eat more. Your nutritionist didn't give you enough information. Please read the link in my sig on getting started, and report back with your macros.
 
Okay, I'll do as you recomend and get back at you with the info requested, thanks for giving a guy a place to get started.
