I'm that old, 58-year-old guy who's only been lifting for about five years, with about 6-months down-time due to full rotator cuff tear. Loaded up bar with three plates each side today, and did three deadlift reps. 315#. Damn it felt good!

Good job on the new pr bro!

Congrats on your new PR bro! Nothing like seeing your hard work pay off.

that s excellent but a word of wisdom from another old guy ..just take it easy on that rotator cuff

Nice job bro. Nothing like a new PR to show u it pays off.

Excellent work on the 315 lb Deadlift.

Now start training for your next PR at 320 lbs.

Are you doing Rotator Cuff and Scapular work? I pulled a muscle in my Rotator Cuff about 4 months ago and have been rehabbing it.

I've been religious about my rehab since the day I got home from the hospital. Shoulder is 98%. Hope rehab works for you and no need for surgery.

This is a great lift. I am super proud of you. You should shoot for 350 by the end of next month. That would be a good goal for you. You should also try to focus heavily on your diet and nutrition now. This would be a good idea for you. I think supplement wise you should still take creatine and bcaas. What else are you taking?
