I never know how to introduce myself to a board without it sounding like an ego trip, but here goes nothin'.

I started weight training just over 2 years ago when the image in the mirror just became too much for me to look at any longer. I was 200 pounds with about 31% bf. I started reading anything I could get my hands on that related to health, fitness, weight training and fat loss. Suffice it to say, I know a lot more now than I did 2 1/2 years ago, but I still submit myself to others who know more about the subject than I do, hence my interest in boards like this one.

I look forward to picking your collective brains about our particular sport, and I don't mind having my brain picked either. I am a natural builder with no interest in AS, but have a close friend uses gear (i.e. no problems w/ those who do juice).

I've managed to get myself down to 179 pounds with about 14% bf. I'm making the final push this year to eliminate the stubborn mid-body adipose so I can actually sport a six-pack (at 32 :thumb: ).

I look forward to getting to know you and integrating into the group.

Thank you all...

for such a warm welcome.

I Are Baboon - apologies for the 'adipose' thing...'fat' just sounds soooo nasty:barf:. Besides, I have the Bachelors Degree in English Literature to thank for the vocabulary. Wait 'til I dazzle you with 'adrenoceptors'.

I just got in from the Y and typing is a little cumbersome with the heavy feeling arms. Such a good feeling.

Again, thanks for the welcome!
