Hey guys I have just started doing weights, I am only 2 weeks old in the lifting world :spaz:. I was wondering if you could tell me if my routine is ok?

Every day:
-Weight bench 6 sets of 10 reps (45kg)
- Dumbbell 6 sets of 10 reps (17.5kg)
- Protein shake in stead of breakfast and dinner ( just eat at tea and supper, but I take a multi-vitamin in morning also )
- Sit ups - 100 each day.

Will I see progess if I keep this up? should I lift more? I can lift 50kg 7-8 times instead? I just want a toned chest/abs/arms

I am 23, Male, 14 stone

Thanks a lot for any responses

Where's the rest of it, And I hope you dont do this every day, even the situps-I think you need to do a little research, also your 23 years old, I would expect a workout like this from a 13 year old.

you need a more elaborate training routine, many here could help you. you need to start with a simple routine like 2 types of exercises per muscle group then as you progress in time you start introducing new exercises. A good way to get started is also by buying a good book on bodybuilding for beginners, then you can complement your knowledge with advice given in this forum.
As for your diet, living off protein shake is not the best thing to do. you should have a healthy natural diet, i don't even see the need for protein shakes at this point.
welcome to bodybuilding!

You cannot do the exact same thing every day. Just use one of the splits mentioned here in the stickies. On another note, a protein shake in replacement of major meals is not a good idea in my opinion.

Do a little more research bro.... And do not substitute food for shakes!! :nono:
