Hey guys I am a 19 year old skinny guy. Even though I am almost 200lbs I am still pretty skinny (I am 6feet btw). Anyways, I finally got tired of being skinny and weak so I decided to take action and begin lifting weights. I bought a bottle of Cell-Tech and Nitro-Tech but I am not sure if they are the best products for me. My goal is to pack on muscle while not getting skinnier, I want to get big and wide. Since I already have these two products I am going to wait till I finish them up but I would like advice from people who have been training for quite a while now. What is the best muscle and mass building supplement there is out there? Or at least better then Cell-Tech and Nitro-Tech?

P.S. Another question - When should I drink the nitro-tech? Before cell-tech or after?

Since you already have them do 1 serving of the Cell Tech post-workout alongside 1 serving of the Nitrotech. Do not need to take them on off days. Both of those products are way overpriced for what you get, but all of us make those mistakes as beginners. Next time look into something like this:

Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey (replace Nitro-Tech)
Prolab, PrimaForce, or Optimum Nutrition Creatine Monohydrate (replace Cell-Tech)

Also, you should be doing a Multivitamin (good products include Orange Triad, Optimum Opti-Men, NOW ADAM, NOW EcoGreen, Mega Men, etc.), a Fish Oil (NOW Omega 3 or Optimum Fish Oil) for general health.

Focus on compound lifts such as barbell rows, incline bench, dips, squats, deadlifts, stiff-legged deadlifts, barbell curls, close-grip bench press, etc. Try and keep weight lifting sessions no more then 1 hour.

Might want to read around the nutrition and training section and see if those guys can help formulate you a plan for your goals. :)

Awesome man, thanks for the help dude I appreciate it. Anymore advice on nutrients will be appreciated it.

Also what a coincidence, I am doing all those exercises you mentioned. I got a workout plan off of bodybuilding.com which includes all of those and other such exercises.

Eat! That's were you'll get your size from!

Are you gaining now? Do you know how many calories you are eating?

I have always eaten a lot, I am just one of those persons that never get fat cause I have a fast metabolism. The one thing I do hate is when I eat I never get bigger from any other part of my body other than my face! Which doesn't help much being that I already have big cheeks.

Ah, you don't know then. Okay, first step: enter everything you eat into FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal and start tracking. You need to know how many calories it takes you to maintain - then you can figure out how much more you need to eat to grow.

Any advice on a protein supplement I should buy?

Optimum 100% Whey is a solid, affordable protein powder.

Cool, about those multi-vitamins, per say the mega men, which one should I buy? The sport? Cause there are different kinds.

Also am I supposed to take the cell tech and nitro tech before working out or after?

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Let's get back to your diet first. Got an answer for me?

:hmmm: Nah man not yet =/. I know for sure that I have been eating a lot lately. In fact I just weighed myself and I am up to 205 lbs (the most ive have weighed all my life). Yeh but could you answer my question pls? Before or after? Or both?

You first.

lol. I haven't been tracking YET. I will soon! The gym closes in 2 hours, so pls answer my question? >_< lol

nitro is an NO product, right? That would be before.
The other is creatine? do it after.

NO product? Bleh well I couldnt wait because the gym was closing and it turned out it was closing an hour earlier so I just did half my workout :wits: Oh well, I took nitro before workout and after, same with the creatine  Oh and what does NO mean?

Also is Muscle Tech's Anabolic Halo a good supplement to replace Cell Tech?

cell tech is an overpriced sugar creatine product. halo is an overpriced kitchen sink product.

NO = Nitric Oxide, most will create a superficial pump.

lol yeh ive been hearing that lately. So you saying nitro tech is good though? Also what would you recommend for replacements?

no. muscletech is extremely overpriced, hell go to walmart and buy the six star stuff, same company.

for protein i would say get ON isolate or theit nitro 24 deal.

as for meal replacements labrada makes a good one as does prolab. i think lean mass complex is the prolab one.

SB - what kind of fibre - soluble or insoluble?

Nice! Soluble fibre. Slows gastric emptying.

I thought I had to get the ON 100% Whey? What is the difference between ON %100 Whey and ON Nitro Core? I was thinking of buying some products from SB tomorrow once I deposit money into my debit card but I do not know??? My goal is to get big and wide and gain weight, so is nitro core the one for me or ON %100 whey?

what would be a good creatine replacement for Cell-Tech for getting big then? And how am I supposed to know when to take certain supplements? Some people tell me take nitro after and some tell me before and then some tell me creatine before and others creatine after? Im so fukin confused.

Nobody gets big from creatine or NO. For size, you have to consistently over-eat.

Tell you what. Get your training and diet sorted out and working for you. Once that's established, toss a teaspoon of plain creatine monohydrate (anything that's on sale is fine, get unflavoured, unsweetened, just the pure stuff) into your pre OR post workout shake and be done with it. Non-training days just take a teaspoon of it in the morning - I put the dry powder in my mouth and knock it back with water, you can put it into a shake if you're drinking them anyway.

NO won't do anything but give you a cosmetic pump, so use it if you like, or don't. It won't make you huge and it won't make you strong. But it might amp you up pre-workout and if that's worth it to you, go for it. Won't hurt you.

Okay?

Okie dokie. Any suggestions on a multivitamin I should take? Also what is the difference between ON 100% whey protein and ON %100 whey protein all natural? And which is better?
