I started a new job bartending which totally screwed up my days. I go into work around 6pm and don't get out until 4 and get to bed around 5. So mainly my Wed's - Sat's consist of me getting up around 12 cramming as much food as possible, going to the gym, eating more then working until 4 and i have a LATE night/morning snack which either consists of eggs, protein shake or a protein bar then sleep. I just started a cycle of MM too so i'm trying to get my calories up as high as possible in the short amount of time i have. Can anyone help or throw out some ideas? Are these late night snacks a bad idea because by the time i leave i'm hungry as hell. Thanks in advance!!

Might not be the absolute best thing for you since solid food is better, but you could always just refrigerate a really big protein shake and take sips from it throughout the night. And bring some walnuts/almonds with you for some good fats.

I cant really sit down and have a meal. I usually bring a protein bar or like dan says bring a bag full of raisins and nuts, just food i can chow down on pretty during slow times.

If you can have a protein bar/nuts you can also pack a sandwich with whole grain sprouted bread, lettuce, chicken etc and fruit or something. I'm in the same situation where I work, I can't bring food I need a fork and knife to eat with, but other things are ok... Then again my shifts are only 4-5 hours.

Desperate times cal for desperate measures..use mass shakes.

Personally, I think being not able to work through your schedule is a lack of determination. If you want to achieve your goals, don't tell yourself something can't be done.

I know exactly what you mean with the job and school. I will start student teaching this coming month which starts at 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. than I go straight to the Univ. of Arizona and we have practice from 2-4:30 but I'm usually there till 6-7 P.M. working guys out, so I'm going to have to step it up and prepare all my meals on the weekends. Never have time to eat, and when will I be able to workout? Looks like im going to be on a serious cutting diet till December when I graduate!

Hahahahaha. :roflmao:

I work 9-5, Monday through Friday. I'm also attending Indiana University and have to pay a third of the $30,000 dollar out-of-state tuition to attend one of the top five business schools in the country.

What school do you go to? Where do you take classes? Judging by your grammar, or lack thereof, you're a fucking idiot, and considering how your complaining about payments, you're not doing too hot financially (which is odd, because bartenders I know are breaking the bank, must be because you're an asshole) either.

And please, I joke around, I have a sense of humor (something you clearly lack), if some people don't understand that, I couldn't care less what they think of me, afterall this is a message board.

So keep it up, eat your protein bars and continue to bitch and moan about your work schedule, you no good, low life scum sucking mother fucker.

:)

chillldren....play nice. No one under the age of nineteen has a mortgage so they dont know what the FUhhhhhCK they're talking about. Shut up now. Thank You.

and dont get me started on raising children, which takes 16 hours out of the day and costs about 500,000 dollars over the course of their lifetime with you.

Hah I guess you can say you win. Well i'm guessing this thread is pretty much shot...

It takes me 5 minutes to eat at work. I prepare my food a day in atvanced, or I get up early and good enough food for 4 meals, then I cook the other 2 when I get home from the gym.

I have worked in a bar as a barback, so I know that you are telling the truth about not having 10 minutes to stop and eat. I would work a 16 hour shift on Friday and Saturday. I was eating Yellow Jacks and stackers like m&ms. Hopefully you work at a bar that runs 2 bartenders so yo ucan take 5 to suck down some premade oatmeal or wild rice with some fats like nuts or cottage cheese.

Nobody "won," it wasn't even an argument. You made an ass out of yourself. Period.
