Hahahahaha...
I don't know what's funnier, the picture or the word honor in the same sentence with George Steinbrenner's name.
I wish you were alive so your team would continue to overpay for declining veterans, but it's not a bad consolation prize to know your six feet under.
Go fuck yourself, George Steinbrenner!

Soxmuscle, go fuck YOURSELF, you punk ass, immature little shithead. Just bitching cause were kicking the Sox ass AGAIN-who by the way spend a ton of money, too. The man is dead, have some respect, asshole.
Larry David did a great job of poking fun of Stein on that show. No doubt that he was a bit quirky, to say the least. Can't argue with success, though.
I mean it was Seinfeld - it was supposed to be corky. I wonder what Stein thought about it.
Yep-I knew what you meant. Larry David, the co-creator of the show, was the one doing the Steinbrenner voice. I remember reading that Stein thought it was really funny.
That is cool. I wasn't sure who Larry David was, but figured he was a producer or something and did the voice. That was one of the best parts of that show, in my opinion.
He and Jerry wrote most of the episodes, along with a couple of other writers. His show Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO is hilarious.
To be honest I'm not a Yankees fan, but I still loved all the Yankees stuff on that show. I've never seen Curb Your Enthusiasm, but will definitly check it out. If Seinfeld is in it it's probably funny.[/QUOTE
They did a little series last year with all the cast, but mostly it's just Larry's deal. They improvise a lot of the material, and it is very unique for TV comedy. Kinda the anti-sitcom comedy. One of the few shows that makes me laugh out loud.

I don't have HBO, but I'm pretty sure my library has complete seasons of it on DVD. They have a lot of shows like that on DVD there.

Last season yes, this season no.Posada, A-rod, Granderson and your favorite Nick "ironman" JonhsonThe Yankees have been extremely fortunate health wise over the last couple of seasons,
well, Jeter sucks, so hopefully he stays healthy, the Yankees give him mass amounts of money this offseason and they keep him at short stop where he's become a complete liability defensively (something I've been making note of for years now).
You wish he were here to see him overpay for declining veterans?
Where have you been kid, he's signed and over paid for declining veterans.
To be honest with you at one point I hated that guy but in the end he cared a whole lot for his team and again, I've said this before and I will say it again...he invests his profits on his team. Unlike other teams like the Pirates whose owners were caught not spending it on the team.

It's a well known fact that he will be taken care of....how are you going to run out the face of the franchise? For all he's done for them and baseball you think we should run him out of town like Boston does to it's players? Clemens.
They know it's bad business and for crying out loud they have the fucking money.
The yankees will live on and be the best or at least the most competitive baseball around for years to come....very few teams can or will do that.
Hopefully they worked out his swing...he does show a nice swing for the Stadium but I agree.....I would have kept Jackson instead. The Granderson trade was simply a bad trade.
He's DH material, why are they waiting so long for the transaction?Posada is old, and a catcher. Him playing all season is an unrealistic expectation.
The ironman's inability to stay healthy is truly unfortunate.

He can still hit but by having him behind the plate they are taking a year away from his career.
I said it from the beginning, he won't last. He definitely will not be signed next season.
You can't possibly keep trotting him out there to short, can you?
