I have learned so much after visiting this board last week. My workouts are now shorter, harder and more effective. Now I need a little help with diet.
My stats:
Sex - Male
Height - 6' 6"
Age - 30
Weight - 275
Body Fat - Unknown
Diet history:
Grew up on carbs all my life (love sugar/desert)
7 months ago - Started Kashi Go Lean Diet (life style change big time)
Monday through Friday I would eat the following on an average day:
1) Protien Shake (1c milk - three scoops powder) + mult-vitamins
2) Whole Grain Cereal (9g fat - 108g carbs - 39g suger - 27g protien) + 1 - 2 TBS. Sugar + 2c. milk
3) Protein/Fiber Bar (6g fat - 49g carbs - 35g sugar - 13g protein)
4) Various Dinners - a) fish - potatoe/squash - vegatable - Salad (ceaser or blue cheese or vinagrette) - b) pad thia noodles - c) shrimp pasta - d) vegi burger - potatoe tots
5) Desert - Often some type of ice cream and cookie variation
Weekends would be free days where I would eat what ever I wanted which usually when to a high carb diet I grew up on.
OK - I I have read several of the articles about sugar and it makes a lot of sense to me (I could actually feel the sugar in my body after reading it - yuck). The current siet works, but I know its not very effective after everything I've read here.
I need a little help planning a cutting diet and also integrating it into my daily life. I read the Male cutting diet and could try to start, but I don't eat very much chicken of beef. Could someone please help?!? Also, will I be able to have one free day a week so I don't go crazy?
