Not the usual creatine question

Hi,

I usually weight lift in the morning at 10am-11am and i train for thai boxing from 5pm-7:30pm later during the day, when should i be taking my max pump? Not sure if the effect will last the whole day if i take it in the morning.

Mon: weight lift only
Tues: weight lift & boxing
Wed: weight lift & boxing
Thurs: weight lift & boxing
Fri: weight lift only
Sat: off
Sun: off
 
Isnt max-pump just some super expensive pre workout drink with creatine?

I would suggest buying a cheaper yet equally effective product.

And taking it pre-workout only.
 
Pre-workout is best.
 
From where? The reason to take it pre-workout is to supersaturate the muscle fiber with creatine. Extra creatine, means extra energy available to the muscle, meaning extra reps and sets, and possibly extra strength.

In other words, a more effective workout.

The reason to take it post, is to replenish depleted creatine stores. Its not a bad idea, but if you are going to take it just once, pre is best.

What about before and after?


And, how fast could it possibly be absorbed by the body and ready for use? 30 min?
 
Before and after works nice. You don't need as high a dose after, maybe a half dose. 30-45 mins if you are on an empty stomach is plenty.
 
so i should just take it in the morning before weightliftin? because i was hoping that maybe the effect will last for my boxing training too.
