So I bought 2.5 pounds each of chicken breast and eye of round the other day, cut them up, threw them in a huge pot and boiled the whole lot....usually I buy my meat pre-packaged and pre-weighed in different lots, and just cook 5 ounces of each for each meal, but seeing as how boiling makes everything look so much smaller after cooking, I have no idea how much boiled meat equates to 5 ounces of raw meat for each one. Someone help me out? Jodi, I know you had to eat a lot of boiled chicken for carb cycling...

Peace.

Okay well I just realised that throwing everything in a pot and boiling everything wasn't the best idea..I just weighed some of this stuff and it seems like I lost about 1/3 of the weight in each piece of beef...where'd it all go?! Looks like I might have to go buy another 2 pounds of beef tomorrow....

Peace.

try fitday.com

I'm assuming that beef weighs less the longer you boil it, so I actually have no idea how fitday can help...

well, my mistake then, i thought i read broiled!good luck

I think I'm just gonna go buy another 2 pounds of beef and grill it this time instead of being lazy and dumping everything into boiling broth...what a waste of $6, though

Peace.
