Sorry for all these questions, but I figured let me get them off my chest. My "ripped" 375lb benching chest. jk well not really.. haha

anyways...Today is one of my "off" days. Should I keep my carbs just as high as a workout day? I kinda feel guilty eating 1 cup of oats in the morning, and lots of carbs each meal when I'm not doing anything active to burn anything. I'm on a 3k calorie diet and need to keep the carbs up to get the calories in. On off days I typically up the fats and have 2 servings of 1/4 cup almonds so 1/2 cup total and usually an extra tbsp olive oil.

keep the carbs up. Don't be carbophobic. I hate the whole "low carb" thing making people think that eating carbs will make one fat. Your body needs just as much on off days to keep repairing itself.

Some people do drop carbs / overall calories slightly on off-days, but I keep everything the same.

Arggggg...... :suicide: You and your endless 'knit-picking' questions! :p

If you are still getting in your required calories then I don't think it will matter greatly if you have some days lower carb and some days higher carb.

JUST EAT ENOUGH! ;)

Damned straight. People overthink macros a little too much I think. As long as you are getting sufficient amounts of each source of energy, skew the splits any way you want after that.
