ok i need help,tall giant looking for new diet!!! =D

Ok im 6 foot 11 no not 6 foot 1 that was not a typo. Im 225 pounds i got calipered at 14% body fat pretty sure im 17% tho,21 years old. Looking to get into body building need new diet.I just started up in the gym (computer nerd almost all my life). currently prob eat around 2,200 calories a day but never have counted just estimated.After what i calulated i need around 5,000 clean calories but if im wrong please please correct me thanks again guys.
 
I would start counting and use a food tracker like Myfitnesspal to reach your goals. Until you get good at tracking and knowing the caloric/macro values of food, you can't get to your goals just buy guessing.
 
what up brother, your a few inchs taller than me which is awesome. im currently at 299lbs eating 4900 cals a day and maintaing so i think your goal for 5000 a day is good. now keeping the cals up is the problem lol i like to blend up some home made mass shakes and drink two a day. also since your just getting started i would ask a lot of questions at the gym and here. start with bench, pull ups, squats, and deadlifts. these will build the most mass over the long haul.
 
^^^^this. Being your size getting in the calories u need can be a bitch so homemade mass gainer shakes will definitely help. Few scoops of whey oats pb flax seed
