im starting to make my 12 year old brother work out with me. But im just wondering since hes just benching the bar would he get hernia or is it safe. Also he does cardio with me and all that but i know u dont get hernia from cardio and stuff.
Is he prone to hernias? Has anyone in your family had one? As long as he isn't struggling to lift the bar then he should be ok, trouble starts when you start squeezing your stomach really tight trying to force the bar up...
