Living for an extra 100-200 years would be nice, provided it is in a body that isn't bed ridden or too fragile to do anything. There's a lot of shit I'd still like to do.

Don't believe you'll have to pray for that. Scientists/doctors are maybe 20 years away from that possibility.

No,not quite. I was 17 nearly 18 he was 40 when we started dating thus 23yr age difference . Didnt marry til recently.

I feel a little old once in a while myself and I'm 56.
But the best we can do is stay healthy and strong to the best of our ability and keep training.
I cant lift the weight I once did but like you I still do pretty fair in the gym.

The other day I was watching this young fella at the gym leg pressing with 22 plates and the inside plates were 100's.
Obviously I was impressed and I have watched him train before. We are kinda pals and have had many conversations.
I was commenting on how that was pretty impressive and he said yes but how old are you?
I told him 56 and he said....shit if I can lift what you do when I'm 56 I will be pretty damn happy.
So you see even the younger guys who are a lot stronger than us look up to the fact we have been training for decades and for the most part still look better and are way stronger than the average person of our age.
So I do my best to stay positive, train regular and hard and even we can still turn some heads from time to time.
