Well last thursday I was helping a friend move into another apartment. There's an entertainment center that weighs, about 350lbs, we got it on the U-haul ok. But when we got it off he was trying to tilt it so I would catch the corner gently, but he dropped it and I caught it. But when I did, my entire upper back and shoulders went tight, and felt like something got pulled. Well i couldn't rest my shoulder during the weekend, cuz I had a field exercise with my unit and while working, I noticed that if I lifted anything with my left arm my right shoulder blade would get a stabbing pain, like someone was twisting a knife, and if I held something long enough the pain would spread to my side and eventually to my right pec, until I couldn't take it and had to drop what I was carrying. Now if I lifted with my right arm I was fine. But when we sat down for a class on rules of engagement, when I got up I used my right arm to push myself up and got the same pain. So I tested it out a couple of times and found that every time I pushed anything with my right arm I'd get the same pain in my right shoulder blade. I'm thinking I either strained a muscle in my shoulder or back really badly or tore sometghing, let me know what you think, I've been sdelined all week because of this.
