Paranoid about my form...

OK, so when I started lifting about 1.5 years ago I made good strength and size gains, but it took me several months to realize that my form was crap on several lifts (someone pointed it out to me).

Since then, I have fixed my form up and worked back up to using the same weights/heavier than I was using back then but with MUCH MUCH better form. However over the past few months I've gotten paranoid about my form, usually on compound lifts....

I lift in a gym half the time and in my garage weight room on the days on certain days...and it's gotten to the point where, when I lift at home, I'm alone so I film myself on various different lifts every single time, and sometimes I even film all my working sets in a workout...

when I'm at the gym, I'll always either have my cell phone and place it somewhere to film myself if there aren't lots of people around, or otherwise I have my training partner film me on his cell phone....

the problem is that I've posted form check vids online several times and every time I've been told my form was OK, and when my lifting partner films me he getss ick of it because he tells me my form is fine and that I'm getting worried for nothing yet I'm never happy with it and still feel the need to film myself on the next workout.

Sometimes I can literallly get depressed for an entire day if I think my form was bad..... Can anyone offer any help on how I could get rid of this problem thats really annoying me? Thanks
 
This sounds like an obsession. No advice about form is going to help you overcome it. You need to find some balance in your mind. Try not to obsess. It's the only solution.
 
Can you touch your nose while your eyes are closed? Scratch your knee without looking at it? Knowing where your body parts are in relation to one another is called proprioception, knowing when and in which direction they are moving is called kinesthesia.

If you've practiced good form, and know what it feels like, why on earth can't you just feel when you're not using good form? If you can't, you may have a neural problem. You *can* touch your nose when your eyes are closed, right?
 
Post videos for critiques of your form on particular workouts
 
Do you have any reason to believe your form has gone to crap again? Sounds like you just need to get over it.
 
everybody tells you your form is ok..so stop worrying..i think your problem is not your form...someday your obsession will shift on something else and so on ...(OCD)..so you need to learn how not to worry or else with time it will grow on you and then you will need professional help...
so your first move is to go to the gym without any phone or camera or anything that takes pics or videos..and concentrate on your workout without wasting time taking videos.....no phones no cameras no accessories no thinking about any other thing besides your workout.
 
Sounds like OCD and I deal with a bit of it myself. Curt is right on. Spend some time working to overcome your OCD and DON'T POST ANY MORE VIDS. I wouldn't even video your form for a while, this is feeding your obsession. good luck!
