I'm getting ready to go on a bulk, and plan on eating lots of whole wheat pasta, and maybe some normal pasta around workouts. I was wondering what everyone put on their pasta to season it. I used to put some garlic and onion powder, some italian spices, tabasco pepper sauce, maybe some low cal italian dressing and some parmesean. Are there any good sugar-free pasta sauces or good alternatives to put on pasta?

Lean Mince. Chop it up really finely, brown it in a pan, then add the rest.

When I'm on a bulk I tend t buy cans of 'low fat' tomato pasta sauces or make my own using flour, milk, and butter, once the sauce has thickened add cooked chicken and mushroom.

mmmmmmmm pasta <drools>

Just getting off a bulk myself where I ate a ton of whole wheat pasta during the end. I used Bertolli Olive Oil + Garlic pasta sauce. This sauce uses actual Bertolli Olive Oil in it, and the label itself doesn't look that bad. I would cook up chicken breasts, cube them, and throw them in the pasta sauce; tasted great! Only thing is, when I started eating pasta regularly, I gained more fat and at a faster pace than previously. I realized later that it was just because I simply ate a ton of pasta (the stuff is hard to portion) and the calories add up quick, especially after including the sauce and chicken. So watch out for that if you are planning on eating a lot of pasta as well.
