Kindly advise as to which exercises build huge pectorals and which exercises define pectorals??????

Which exercises are the most useful in building the inner pectoals??????

Last but not the least, during each training, must I do exercises for the inner as well as the outer pectorals or must I alternate with each training session?????

Peace.

Great question!

I'd say the answer to this depends on your training maturity and how much you are developed. The pectoralis major is one muscle, there is no such thing as an inner pec and an outer pec, just like there is no such thing as an upper and lower pec, however IMO you can place more tension on one area than the other.

If you are new to lifting, don't worry about specific areas, just use the basic exercises (bench press incline/decline/flat, dumbbell press incline/decline/flat, etc.) to develop your chest completely and then you can focus on detail and symmetry. Making a muscle large and making it defined come under completely different categories...one is done through hard work in the gym, and one is done through hard work in the kitchen.

I would pick two bench presses Flat/incline or Flat/decline and one fly movement, flat/incline or decline. 3 sets on the benches and two for the flies for a total of 8 sets for your pec workout.

Proper diet will be what helps define your chest and your hole body.

Good post Pnoybot:thumb:

there is no exercise perse that will "define" a muscle, definition comes from being leaner, which comes primarily from your diet.

if you want to build your pecs do what Scotty said. :) use a combonation of flat, decline & inclines presses, barbell and dumbbells with moderate to heavy weights.

4 sets of regular bench press
4sets of incline
3 sets of dumb bell flys
3 sets of peck deck

done HEAVY except the dumbbell flys those need some time to get used to.

on another note yesterday i incline benched 200lbs 4times new personal record (whoooo) :)
