I'm a big dude, 313lbs 6ft, but I'm not slop weight exactly. I know I need to lose 70lbs for sure. As far as muscle ratio and fat, I do bench 600lbs with a double poly inzer bench shirt. So its not all fat. I would like advice on how to trim fat get in shape and fit while maintaining as much muscle as possible. Strength will come back, but I don't want to look like I'm fasting in terms of muscle loss. I still want to keep my bigguy status, lol. My goals are to lose 70lbs in the next 365 days 50lbs next 6 months and 30lbs next 3 months.

As far as diet goes. How should I approach?? ? I hate counting calories

you need to get your body fat tested to see how much LBM you have.

couting calories makes gaining and losing weight so much easier...

sounds good, anything else?

Just my opinion here, but 30 pounds in 3 months sounds like a lot in a short time, considering that to do it safely you'd be doing at most 2lb per week max (anything over that wouldn't be fat loss most likely, but muscle).

At a max of 2lb per week, you're looking at 24 lb in 3 months and that's with all factors working perfectly (diet/exercise/water, etc.)

If I'm wrong, somebody please chime in.

post your current diet...

if you lose the weight a tad bit slower like GG says, you wont lose ANY muscle... which is nice. if your diet isn't that clean, you may even see strength GAINS.

any more that 2 pounds a week and you'll probably lose muscle. and yes, post current diet. that helps.
