Personal trainer/Massage Therapy careers

Hey guys, Im currently certified in personal training under NAFTA. In a week, there is a course being offered nearby in AFAA certification, im planning on taking it.

Im also interested in massage therapy. But Im hearing that its not a good career in terms of money, lifestyle, etc. Then again, people tell me that personal trainers dont make good money either unless they live in Miami or Venice Beach, lol.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I live in the St.Louis area and I know a lot of massage therapists and they dont make to much. I have a trainer who is a massage therapist as well. If you get hooked up at a training studio and they let you do massages out of there to you should be able to do pretty well. Most places don't take the certs you have mentioned though.
