Bad weekend, I don't know what came over me but I pigged out over the weekend and gained 4 pounds. It is really amaxing how fast it comes back on and how you can feel it.

I'm just thinking, so you will have to excuse me. But I was thinking are you sure you gained four pounds over a weekend because depending on how much salt is in the food you ate you could just be retaining alot of fluid.

Daisy on a roll...

*gives daisy another cookie*

Yes, you didn't gain 4lbs of fat, you gained 4lbs of water due to increased carb intake or sodium intake.

Ha-ha ha, thanks guys and gals. I weighed in today and was back down 3 of the 4. I'm guessing I must have gained 1 pound. Man, I did pig out though, felt great. Got that out of my system now and back to normal.

The only way eating a bunch of junk food kick starts your metabolism is because more food requires more calories to digest.

But, with the amount of food eaten on the average cheat day this effect would be negated.

Additionally, sugar would not be the way to go about boosting your metabolism, anyway.
