Please tip the pizza delivery driver
Your address was chosen at random to receive this one-time message. What some folks don't understand is that delivery people are paid a very low amount. It is expected that they will receive tips and whatever they get belongs to them. Please, if you can afford $16 for pizza, you can surely pay the delivery person $2.50 for bringing it to your door. The driver is, in essence, your waiter on wheels. They use their own car. They work hard to give you the convenience of delivery to your door and take on added costs because of the job. Since you appreciate the service, please tip the driver.
The appropriate tip is:
· 15% or $2, whichever is greater
· 20%+ for excellent service
· less for poor service, such as 5% or 10%
· slightly more in bad weather and for distances over 3 miles from the store
The tip is not included in the bill, nor is it covered by a delivery charge if the store has one. For more information about tipping and pizza delivery in general, please visit our website at tipthepizzaguy.com. After all, not tipping is the height of the rudeness.
Having said that, you or someone you know can earn money as a pizza delivery driver. Apply at a store in your area. The requirements are:
· You must be at least 18 because delivery is considered a hazardous job by the US government.
· You must have a reliable, dependable car because drivers use their own car and put 75 to 100 miles on it every day.
Please remember to tip the pizza delivery driver.
We are an independent source, not associated nor sanctioned by a pizza store or chain. Please visit our website at tipthepizzaguy.com.

Hey those tips add up 4 times a week.

J/k I always tip 15-20% cause you never know when you'll get the same delivery guy and what he'll do to your pizza. Do you really want to piss off the guy who has 30 minutes worth of time alone with your food?

Spamming about tipping the pizza guy? What's next?

Pizza? Yeah, right after my Big Mac and fries...

I ALWAYS tip when we order pizza. Hasn't been often lately, but we do tip.

This post would be more effective in say a computer gamers forum or you know someplace that would have more socially inept people who would have pizza on their weekly menu.

I always tip. Like Manic said, Im afraid if I dont, the next time I could get a 'suprise'.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
What I dont know, cant kill me :) I just hope for the best.

You might get a suprise even if you DO tip. ;)
Only if you live on the 13th floor of a building with a broken elevator.

If you live on the 13th floor you're cursed. Move. :D

100 miles a day on my precious car...? no fucking way, i love my car way to much, I take care of it like my balls..lol

I don't do nothing to the food. but if I know they ain't a tipper the sure as hell ain't the first delivery going out.

I typically tip $3.

If there is a delivery charge, that comes out of the $3.

well don't expect quick delivery.

I always tip well because I am not a cheap bastard. :)

I quite my side job as delivering pizza, because no one was tipping. Those people SUCK...... Americans are getting FAT AND LAZY AND CHEAP!!!!!

I hated when I would deliver a pizza withing literally one block of the store, and they still didn't tip. WTF??? If you dont wana tip, go get the damn pizza YOURSELF!!!!!

California you have to have a base pay, so thats 6.75 -7.00

so in an 8 hour day you get 7X8= 56$

Domino's pays per mile, roughly a dollar.
100(average a day)x1 = 100$

any plus tips. 3 dollars per person, maybe 3 deliveries an hour, 8 hour day.
3X3X8 = 72$

100
72
+56
____
228$ a day

X's 5 days a week ='s 1140$ a week
X's 4 weeks in a month= 4560$

4056$? a month let me shed a couples tears :D and who on a bodybuilding website eats pizza

Personally i always tip about 5$ to the delivery guy but if you really wanna get paid anymore than that in this world you have to go to school get an education :)

i dont know about kansas and a base pay or the pizza guy union but my deliver guy will be happy with his dollar and my dog not getting out of the garage if he gets upset.

Same here. Say if the Pizza comes to $16.50 and I give him a 20.00 I'll just say it's straight cause I don't want a buck back. But I always usually tip at least a few bucks because I'd expect that If I was a driver. Even if it says free delivery or whatever you still tip the guy. It's just common courtesy. I also can't stand the pieces of shit who order delivery during a ridiculous snowstorm or rainstorm and make the guy drive around in that shit.

Most of the delivery guys here use mopeds so gas prices ain't killin' them.

you know what i hate is when they give me my change back but dont ever give me my coins also....who the fuk are u to take my money without me giving it to you...so whenever so guy says the food is say 11.45 i better get all my change including pennies, or your tip will be down the shitter

If it wasnt for those pieces of shit, the pizza places wouldnt make any money during the snow storm. Yeah its not convenient, but perhaps to them it beats getting sent home and not making any money for the night.

I'm talkin blizzard white out conditions, but the store being open still. Or a downpour where the driving conditions are treacherous. Or icy conditions.
