Hey guys, I've been playing Rugby for 2 years now, and am off to college next fall where I will continue. I am a back; Center or Wing, and I recently contacted the Backs Coach for my college. He suggested doing a good amount of plyo. I was wondering what would be a good rugby-specific plyo workout, or just a plyo workout in general that would help me be more agile, cut better, etc

Cheers

interval sprints / jumprope
try to time how long you sprint in rugby match and how long you rest in between plays. then try to mimic that interval for a length of a game
like for mma i do 50 yard dash 50 sprints 30 sec intervals (Every 30 sec. im running so if it takes me 7 sec to run 50yrds then i have 23 sec to rest) buts thats for mma. try to see what the intervals are for rugby and mix up your sprints also, like run backwards, sideways, high knees. and jump roping is awsome also. hope that helps

kettle bells would probably supplement those workouts. look into it...
