I had a thread in training, but now i have a question in nutrition. It's the middle of the day, more towards the evening side, I did my resistance training and had my post workout shake about an hour ago. I'm going to give myself another hour before I start my 45 minute cardio workout. Once I'm done with my cardio it will be about 3 hours. I was wondering if eating directly after a cardio workout would be typical? Also, does there need to be a reasonable amount of carbs in this meal following cardio?

Why not just do the cardio right after the weights?

So weights, shake, then cardio?

It all depends on your goals.

I would rather get the cardio done right after my workout then come back again. I have a life to live.

An extra 20 mins of Cardio isn't going to make any significant difference for downing your shake.

If you want to argue for the window, then one of the purposes of the shake is to replenish muscle glycogen after draining it during a strenuous workout. By doing lifting then shake then cardio, you're essentially draining the muscle glycogen again, so you probably are losing those benefits anyway.
