Are potatos good if ur cutting? i onlky have one potato for dinner , should i stick to oats or what?

I wouldn't worry about it. Just account for the cals.

Sweet potatos are great when cutting.....but pay attention to total carbs and calories.

which is better for someone who is bulking up...baked or fried potatoes??

Have baked. You're better off eating a lot of clean food. You'll bulk up without the overload of fat.

I would say baked every time... Unless you fry them in olive oil and you add the olive oil to your calorie total for the day.

What fat? It is the same potato, calories wont change if it is fried or baked.

Yeah, not for cutting. I eat them definitely when bulking, though.

and what is your reasoning behind that?

I no about of body builders have 1 small baked potato every hr they are awake the week before competein for the glycogen(sp?) spike

i wouldnt worry about potatoes just as long as your not eating to many of them and you keep ur carbs/kals in check

potatoes will give you a bigg energy rush than the likes of basmati rice
