does anyone know where to get a good powerlifting belt on line?

Are you talking about a lever belt or something? A belt is a belt, either a lever belt or a belt with regular old holes in it, or nylon, there is no "powerlifting belt."

http://www.inzernet.com/

How good is the lever belt i have never use one of those. For me i have to use a good belt i hate using those cheap belts. I checked online one place and they call the belts powerlifting belts. ONe other reason i want a good belt is because i have had back surgery.

I dont use a belt, but some powerlifters swear by the lever belt, yet others still use the old fashioned stuff.

I used a belt when I was a kid....because it made me look tough and all the big kids did too..... I have used a belt lately on very heavy squats, but I honestly don't see the benefit. I Have a balky back and I don't think its a help to use the belt. To "feel" any benefit from a belt I have to crank it down so tight that I am afraid of a rupture on squats and good mornings.
Can someone enlighten me?
I would like some opinions

Inzer makes a good belt.

If you are using the belt for squats and deadlift, make sure you get a powerlifting belt. These DO NOT get skinnier in the front. They are wide all the way around.

Only get the olympic lifting belt(BBing belt) of you are ONLY going to do overhead lifting like clean and jerk, snatch, overhead presses etc. If you plan to do squats and deadlifts with this belt you're wasting your money.

yes i'm going to use it for squats . squatbenchdead do you use the lever or the old fashioned one.
