Protein and complex carbs within an hour of my workout is a good time for me, but that will vary from person to person. I like whey mixed in my oatmeal personally.
 
If I'm pressed for time (like half hour before the gym)... Vanilla Whey (w. Stevia) + plain yogourt + blueberries all mushed together washed down with a strong cup of coffee. Good eats.


If I have an hour+....the same but oats as well.
