Pretty cool - Very Young Schwarzenegger

The peak on arnolds bicep at that young age is unreal. Genetic juggernaut.

I wonder what year he started taking AAS...

Watching contests from the past really shows how far we progressed with diet and nutrition. These guys would be 8 weeks out if they competed today.

Thanks to whoever edited the title and properly posted the video lol. If you could pm me on how to properly post a YouTube video id be very appreciative. Chill you and your groopy need to move on.

I liked the line "Just imagine what an embrace such muscle could accomplish.....Wasted on a girl! It could put paid to an Ox, but who wants to embrace an Ox" ......genius haha!

Saw the age 15 mentioned in at least one unauthorized biography.

Cool man. Looked like Franco Columbu in there too.

:thumb:

looks like franco at 0:27

any idea of their ages in this video ?

Agreed. That's Franco! And for the ages in the video, Arnold was born in 1947 while the film notes it was a contest in 1966 so Arnold would have been 18 or 19, right?

Franco was born in 1941 putting him at 24 or 25 years old there.

Snipped the following image from the video. That's Larry Scott, right?

And the year on the podium/posing dais is 1966. Can't find that contest on the Muscle Memory website, though.

In fact, the only contest listed for Scott in 1966 was his second Olympia win. That contest was held in NYC. :hmmm:

Edit:
Duh. The title of the YouTube notes that it's two shows.

The 1966 Mr. Muscles in Cologne, Germany and the 1966 Mr. Olympia in NYC.

umm sorry even i dont know how to post one here :(
well you can see Arnold squatting his way to glory here Squats | Fitnessanddefense.com !!!

That was a tricky one, jasjotbains.

Had to follow your link to that site then double-click the YouTube posted there and then follow the embedding deal here.

YouTube Video

There's a sticky somewhere that explains how to post YouTube vids.

Basically, you grab the URL from YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0CV6EYMDbE&feature=player_embedded

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0CV6EYMDbE&feature=player_embeddedThen you click on
youtube.gif
.

The bracket thing appears: [ yt][/yt]

Insert only the bold faced bit from the URL.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0CV6EYMDbE&feature=player_embedded

That's everything between v= and & (if "&" appears. It's not included in all YouTube URLs.)

In other words, delete all the big stuff.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0CV6EYMDbE&feature=player_embedded

The red text (or boldfaced stuff in the previous example) gets inserted inside the brackets:

[ yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0CV6EYMDbE&feature=player_embedded[ /yt]

[ yt]M0CV6EYMDbE[ /yt]

Like that? I zapped all the unnecessary stuff and kept the code that's needed.

Included spaces in the bracketed area so the text would appear. Normally if you post the youtube in the bracketed area it will appear just like this:

[ yt]M0CV6EYMDbE[ /yt]

Oops. Close up the spaces in the [ yt] and [ /yt] and it will work!

Good luck.

And, fwiw, if you just post a link then many people are quick to embed it for you. :thumb:
