Priming Before Cycle

Any type of healthy eating that is high in protein will help! Try to keep your system as clean as possible. Thats the best primer of all.

Weight?
BF%?
Training experience?
Cycle?

I'm 6'3 230, BF is around 20% I've been training for years 6. Strict diets, lots of lifting and dedication. But moved 5 months ago and got out of my routine and got out of shape and not so fit. I'm not on cycle but am looking to get into a good routine and primed up before I start any cycles again. My big problem is carbs, I can't seem to stay away from them. I read some articles about priming, warriorfx had a lot of good things but in the end it seems more like your just starving yourself.

Replace the carbohydrates with a large salad. This way you get a clean crisp fresh full feeling and you learn to enjoy that much more instead of being overloaded or bloated on carbohydrates. This will help you lower the carbohydrates significantly.

To prime just get to a low body fat (6-8%).

Priming is a great idea before any planned surplus period, be it with AAS or without. I understand you are looking for the best diet to achieve this but the honest answer is there is no one size fits all approach. The only constant is the fact you want to reduce carb intake to help improve some bodily markers (body fat, insulin sensitivity, glucagon levels ect.)

Please lay out your current diet or the one you are thinking of following and Ill try my best to provide some advice.

^^^ agree. Lower your BF% before starting a cycle helps allot with controlling conversion to estrogen and reducing insulin resistance.
I'd go with carb cycling or intermittent fasting approach to get things under control before starting any cycle.

Carb cycling has always been an effective means to prime for me personally. If you havent dne it id say give it a shot. It def makes a difference.
