I tend to have Whey Protein & Creatine mixed in with a pint of milk after a workout. Is this good, ok or a bad idea??

Cheers
Chris

don't use milk in post workout shakes. it slows the digestion of whey protein, always use water with PWO shakes...

You don't want just whey and creatine, though. Add some dextrose or high glycemic carbs.

Thanks for your responce. But what is dextrose? im trying to lose body fat at the moment, wont more carbs inhibit that.

use whole oats for carbs then...

If you are trying to lose weight, stick with low glycemic carbs. This is a subject you should visit the Nutrition section of the forum to address.

Is it better to buy a supplement that already has this included? Or can I buy something like Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein and get something else that I can add to it so that I come out cheaper? (Once again, college budget here :)
