I WILL DRINK IT EASILY THO ... I DECIDED TO CUT UP BEFORE BULK ... I'M GOING TO START THE PSMF ( www.bodyrecomposition.com ) ... I'M GONNA B STARVING ALL THE TIME :( ... BUT I'LL LOSE THE 20 OR 30 POUNDS I'M LOOKING TO KNOCK OFF ... AS WELL AS PUTTING ON SOME SERIOUS MUSCLE DEFINITION... :thumb:

Don't take 320g of protein if you are trying to loose fat ... the excess protein will be converted into fat most surely... 200g should be enough for you.

Eggs and fish protein will be absorbed more. For example if you eat a steak you will use only 68% of the protein in the meat.. with eggs is 88%.

Whey can help you, you should concentrate your whey intake at breakfast (with fiber or oats) and post-workout, you will absorb most of it at that time.

protein

The 1-1.5g of protein refers to the amount that should be taken per pound of lean body mass..... since you have around 67 pounds of fat that dosen`t need protein, your talking about 250g of protein to feed just the lean body mass!!! so its a bit more of an attainable target!!

Sorry but it refers to 1-1.5g protein per lb of bodyweight - Most people eat the same amount of protein like a girl scout and then wonder why they don't grow.

Protein is the main (but not the only) building block of muscle.

Since twisted is so heavy he should be used to eating a lot anyway (no offense) so the 320g of protein would be no problem.

Yes twisted lose the fat first and then when you have more muscle build up your protein intake to maintain that muscle.

At 20% body fat positive nitrogen balance occurs way below bodyweight, it is a common mistake to use the same method for overweight people. When you want to lower your fat weight naturally your body has to be in an alkaline state, 320-400g of protein intake having a reserve of fat in the body of 20% will leave undesirable results for most, and the protein conversion to fat (energy) is not optimal. (protein is a poor energy source) ...

If taking that much protein having that amount of fat you would need to lower your carbs in order to use your fat stores as energy, you will have to take extra B6 (200mg) to metabolize that energy.

And if you have a cardio machine in your house I would do 2 sets of 20-30 minutes each day, 1 in the morning and 1 at PM, this way you will kickstart your metabolism 2 times.

When you get into the 15-16% 1g per make sense in order to maintain your lean body mass. Of course, if you have a muscular base built already by all means take the 320g but it will be important to work with your metabolism to optimize the fat utilization. But if you are starting now to lift weights, 200g will be enough.

I think it's been said that for cutting you only need 1 gram of protein per pound of lean body weight, and 1.2-1.5g for bulking.

I don't think you need more than 1.5 grams of protien per pound of your lean body mass.

if your asking 1-1.5g per lb of PROTEIN POWDER only, hell no. You have to vary your protein sources. Protein powder should just make up a small portion of your protein intake, which in total should end up to 1-1.5g per lb.

With such a high BF% you don't need 1.5g times your total body mass in protein. Aiming for ~300g is going to be more than enough for you.

Also, if you are doing a PSMF then I suggest you follow Lyles guidelines for the diet and you stick to them 100%. The diet is set up as it is for a reason.

YOU'D ACTUALLY BE SURPRISED HOW LITTLE I CONSUME ... I USUALLY EAT ONCE A DAY AND THAT'S THE WHOLE PROBLEM ... I HAVE ONE BIG MEAL ... AND IT'S ALWAYS LATE ... IF I WOULD EAT SEVERAL TIMES A DAY I WOULD PROBABLY LOSE ALOT OF WEIGHT JUST FROM THAT ... FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT MY METABOLISM WOULD RAISE

I would use your lean mass to calculate. It's a bit quicker if you're fairly lean already to just use your bodyweight, but fat doesn't add to your calorie requirements.
