My usual protein consists of tuna, cottage cheese, egg whites, milk, whey...

Does it matter if i dont have red meat or chicken? Every now and then ill make 6 chicken breasts on sunday.

Like lets say someone else ate a chicken breast every night and I had egg whites every night for dinner, would he have an advantage (if both are equal protein amounts)

What would make you think it would it matter? :hmmm:

I don't eat chicken... There are millions of people out there who do not eat pork... or beef... or kangaroo...

Are they suffering as a result?

If you are getting other protein sources through the day (tuna, whole eggs, cheese, milk, whey powder etc) then not having chicken is not going to be a problem.

all whole food protein sources have different amino acid profiles. none of them are equal when it comes to having the same amounts of nutrients. that's why it's best to eat a variety of foods. if you eat one meal of each every day, eating/cooking becomes very simple.

They do - but this would only become a problem if he was eating only one source of protein all day every day and he was not getting much in the way of amino acids from things such as grains, nuts, legumes etc.

If he has other sources of protein (tuna, cheese, whey, milk) in addition to other sources of food (nuts, seeds, legumes) then the chicken is not going to offer him any particular advantage...

If you're also also using protein powders and maybe even BCAAs you should be fine, as supplements usually contain a very good variety of nutrients to compliment your foods.
