The farmer's market is a great place to get things. Plus, you are supporting your local growers.

speaking of oats, i keep hearing about steel cut oats on this forum, so i just went out and bought some steel cut oats for the first time.

i don't know why exactly i find it so much more filling than rolled oats...but eating a 1/2 cup of steel cut oats is like dropping a rock in my stomach (ie...it really fills me up). i had to force myself to have a protein shake 2 hours later (this from a guy who is usually perpetually hungry).

Then you should try oat bran That fills me up way more than rolled or steel cut.
