question about guide to cutting

Is the weight in 'guide to bulking cutting and maintenance' in pure weight, or LBM weight?

79kg/174lbs (65kg lbm)
Using pure weight for calculation
10cals per lb, 1740cals per day
P:C:F ratio 40:40:20

Daily split:
P: 696cals
C: 696cals
F: 348cals

Daily guideline:
P: 174g per day
C: 174g per day
F: 39g per day

Split over 6 meals:
P: 29g per meal
C: 29g per meal
F: 6.5g per meal

What i find odd about this is that i must have 6.5 grams of fat per meal, and these have to come from EFA's? Thats like 6 caps of fish oil every meal, and nearly 40 capsules of fish oil PER DAY!

Is this correct? Do i really have to take 40 caps a day?

I wont get into detail about diet, but everything has a little dietary fat in it. For instance, oatmeal in the morning is 3g of fat, 6oz chicken is 4.5 grams of fat. When you start putting together meals you will find out 6.5g of fat isnt that much...

Also instead of evenly splitting up your macros, try adjusting them to your training.

Like p+c breakfast, p+c pre/wo, p+c post/wo, p+f rest of day.
 
So how many of these 1000mg Fish oil tabs do i need daily? how many do i need per meal?

Well you figured out your macros, now make meals and try to get as close as possible; then add in the fish oils where necessary.

Also like I said before try to work in your training schedule and diet together. And no carbs before bed when your cutting.
 
If i dont have carbs before bed, i find it REAL hard to sleep. I either wake up in the middle of the night starving, or i wake up and i feel screwed.

Does anyone else experience this?
 
I started my cutting diet 4 days ago, and haven't been sleeping well, this may be the cause.
