Hi,
I read in a magazine recently that sitting in a sauna for 30min burns as many calories as doing some med. to light cardio. The reason for this, the magazine said, is because your body uses so much energy producing sweat. I took my heart rate when I left the sauna after 20 minutes and it was about 160 beats a minute. So I know it raises your heart rate.. but does it really burn as many calories as the magazine stated?
Any information would be helpful. Thanks!!
