Question for the squaters

I started squating again 2 months ago. The initial crippling effects have passed and I feel ready to go at it with some real intensity. My question is, what stance do you prefer, the wide or shoulder width. Most of the big boys tell me to go wide. I find it somewhat uncomfortable, but they say I'll get used to it. Whats your technique and opinion?

Ok, that was pretty much unanimus. I get the feeling I missed this topic earlier. Whats the disadvantage of the wide stance? Give me an explaination, so I have one when they ask why I'm not going wide.
 
I do shoulder width. I was having a problem a couple months ago with form, but Prince and Large helped out. I am squatting better than ever now. Shoulder width stance, and I go down to where my thighs are parallel to the floor. (just did them about two hours ago)

shoulder width, I found that my knee's had a tendency to go in a bit if my stance was to wide.
