How are you doing my name is Derm I am from Killeen,TX and I have a question. How many calories do you burn if i did 100 sit ups, on average.
 
not many at all maybe 15-20 cals.

sit-ups are useless, do crunches to work the abs

Can not be said for certain... but I can tell you it would be not enough to make any real difference!

It would depend on your lean mass, how much effort you were putting into them, how long it took you to do them... etc etc.

You can try to guestimate with these type of calculators:
http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.html

Which gives you 'averages' for calories burnt... For example, an overweight 25 yr old male of ~5'9, weighing ~200 pounds, doing VIGOROUS sit-ups for ~2 mins (no break) would burn about 25 calories...

But take the results with a grain of salt... They are not all that accurate.
