I don't use bar pads or gloves. I'm hardcore. It keeps me out of bar fights.
I actually have a patch of very dry skin inbetween my traps where the bar applies most of it's pressure when i squat. When i sweat during leg training, the skin peels away very easily. It's sore as fuck but feels good.
Well, I read one post from ChrisROCK. As soon as the signature came back, welcome back the thoughts of "Geezz... where the fuck do I find *her*... hmm.... oohhh, ahhh... more... d'oh.... oohhh, ahhh... yeeaahhh... d'oh..."
My football coach used to call it the sissy pad, so after that I have this stigma that if I use it I'm sissy.
Besides, the only time it hurts is when you first unrack the weight. During the actual squats, I'm straining so hard I don't even think about the bar on my shoulders - I think about the intense pain in my legs and how much I hate leg day.
