Hello all, I have learned a ton just by reading your posts awesome experience in this forum with body comp changes.

I just read UD 2.0 today and I have several questions.

1. Do you count fiber in your CHO and calorie count?

2. He says during the carb up to limit fructose to 50 grams, this is a very low amount of fruit included, is this right, has anyone had success with higher amounts of fructose?

3. He recommends MCT;s, has anyone found a good place to find these, I have been using muscle milk light to attain some MCT's. anyone used muscle milk while on this?

4. What is the rec gram per day of EFA's? DO you count these in your total fat intake?

any other thoughts to be successful on this plan would be great, I have my plan completely figured out...and I am pumped to get lean as crap! I am currently about 9-10% and this is as low as I have ever been, 1500 cals is low, holy cow thank god for appetite suppressants!

I just fitday my numbers and forget about the rest.

50g of fructuse isn't the same thing as 50g of fruit. About half the sugar content of fruit is fructose (free, or bound with glucose as sucrose). The bigger culprits are table sugar, HFCH, fruit juice and pop, and dried fruit. Limit your carb intake from these sources to 100g and you'll be sure to limit your fructose intake to about 50g.

MCT is in butter, also in coconut oil.

I usually suggest 3g combined EPA/DHA (contained in 10g ordinary fish oil) since the AHA says this amount is safe without a doctor's supervision. I know plenty of people who take more, but that's what I take.

Thanks

I just get a little saddened by counting the kcals and cho's from fibrous vegetables, very sad!

Count 'em or ignore 'em, ultimately it doesn't matter if you run a deficit.
