i lift with football, so we generally do flat bench press on mondays and incline bench on friday. and we do this with the barbells
because im trying to get husky, i was thinking maybe i could free weight bench and free weight incline on another set of days as well. would it be logical to then do free weight incline bench on tuesdays and free weight flat bench on thursdays?
monday: flat bench (barbell)
tuesday: free weight incline (dumbells)
thursday: free weight flat bench(dumbells)
friday: incline (barbell)
would that be alright? or am i not allowing my chest ot get enough rest, even when working different areas of the chest on consecutive days?
edit: after reading over a couple posts, im starting to learn that there are no separate areas on the chest, so would this mean that if i do my above routing, that i'd be essentially working out the same muscle 4x a weak..which is a bad thing i assume.
