Some days when i'm at the site all day (managing painters) I don't have time to eat what I want. I know most people would tell me to bag stuff, but for some reason I just can't remember to do so. My question is since i'm trying to gain mass, do you think it best to just eat a few healthy meals, and not hit my cals for the day, or to just go to burger king and grab a few burgers and hit my cal intake for the day?

Are there supermarkets near the work site? You can always go in there and get a deli sandwich - whole grain bread, carved turky breast, mustard, veggies, etc. Most supermarket delis make sandwiches to order these days. Walk by the produce department on the way out and pick up a few apples and a small container or bag of almonds and there you have a little more food for later in the day.

If your only other choice (which, no offense, but I seriously doubt that's the case) is BK, then you can grab better things there than a few burgers. They make it easy for you, too. Here are some documents straight from the BK website:
- calorie-conscious
- fat-conscious
- eating strategies

If you're serious about bodybuilding and your aims then forgetting to take food is no excuse. Prepare things the night before and leave a post-it on your wallet/keys to remind you

Why is this so difficult?

It is difficult because bodybuilding isn't the main focus in EVERYONE's life on this board. It is A focus, or maybe just an INTEREST. People have other things going on in their lives and sometimes we can rush out of the house and forget something (like our food).

Boost didn't say he ALWAYS forgets to pack food. When he remembers, great, but what can he do on days he forgets or didn't pack enough? That's his question. He could easily say, "screw it. i forgot my food, bring on the burgers!" but he is at least here asking for some guidance.

Instead of putting him down for not showing his dedication as a body builder in your opinion, why don't you offer up something helpful? is THAT so difficult?

Preparing your meals the night before and leaving a post-it note to remind you is positive advice. By doing this it ensures that you have food ready for the day.

What is so negative about that?

The whole tone was just negative, even if the post-it advice was positive. It was like he was giving shit to the poor guy for not thinking of that before, or implying he must not be so serious, yadda yadda yadda. That is all. There was no need for the "why is that so difficult" or "if you're serious about bodybuilding..." etc.
