I'm going up in the weights and I started training forearms because I'm gona need the extra grip. I dont know if its from the training, or from going up in the weight I lift so quickly, but my forearm hurts like a mofo when I curl. It gets really tight and when I press on it it hurts more. Its about halfway up my forearm and feels close to the bone, maybe a tendon?

Also when I bench press for a long time going heavy my right shoulder begins to feel weak like its give out and drop. Any suggestions? I increase my weight, and I make it very chalenging but the last time I experienced the pain I was dealing with a weight that felt light to me on decline, but this was after doing flat and incline.

i no wat u mean about the forearm ive had the same thing for 20 yrs, just wrap it with knee wraps real tight and it will control all or most of pain when u lift, trust me it works. if u want take some motrin at 600mg before u w/o and youll be fine. good luck brother.:clapping:

this suggession is good.it will be helpfull for the sufferers

^^^^ thnx bro. as i no alot of bbers who suffer this long time injury and it dont get better even with a layoff. so yes use the wraps.

What exactly are you doing for grip training e/w? There's a possibilty you might be overtraining?

Thanks for the advice I'll give it a shot. I was just using a bar with 10 or so lbs on each side, hangin my hands over my knees palms up and curling it with my forearms.
