My goals are to shed between 5-10lbs of bodyfat within about a month to a month and a half. My daily calorie deficit will be about 500 cals. The ratio of protein/carb/fat calories that I'll be consuming is 40/30/30. That amounts to less than 1g of carbs per pound of bodyweight per day, for me.
I'll be eating 5-6 meals per day, consuming most of my carbs in the earlier meals. My last meal will just be a lean protien dish of some kind. I'm sticking to low GI/GL carbs throughout the entire day, except for PWO. Also, I plan to have a refeed day every now and then, but I'm not sure as to the intervals that I should have them in, so I'll have to experiment while I'm cutting. And of course, I'll be drinking plenty of water
.
As far as exercise goes, I'll be weight lifting three times a week (not including ab days, which I don't count because they tend to take less time then normal workouts), doing HIIT in the morning on my off days, and jogging on random days (whenever I feel like it, basically).
So do you guys think it's a solid plan?
Oh yeah, I have a couple of other questions...
1. I've been reading up on HIIT, and it seems like half of the articles say that I should do it on an empty stomach, and the other half say that I shouldn't. Is it a good idea to do HIIT before eating anything?
2. Should I have a PWO shake after HIIT? All I would be putting in it would be whey powder and orange juice.
Thanks in advance.
