Okay so i've had tons of critism off a certain guy who "knows it all". So i need some advice from you guys! The experts...

My bulk diet is very demanding. Tons of calories and tons of protein but i want to know one thing?.....

In my experience from doing it i have gained muscle from this but i want to know if it is actually a good idea or a bad idea....

I have been having a protein drink consisting of,

1 scoop whey isolate
5g Creatine ethyl Ester
5g Bcaa's
10g Glutamine
1 scoop waxy maize starch!

Now this shake is consumed DURING my workout.
Yes i have pre and post workout shakes too!

I just need to know the facts of this?, Is it a good idea? And if so why?.... And i'd love to hear opinions?:hmmm:

'Sokay. LOL!

I wrote up a little synopsis of during-workout nutrition here: Get Built - Get Built - Q & A with the Iron Geek - Issue 2

Glutamine however you can skip entirely: John Berardi - Appetite For Construction, Nov 8 2002

Wow. The first link saved me a bunch of money, and the second gave me just about everything I should know about sugar. What I thought was "good" for me (banana, orange juice) right after work out ain't so good. I've read it's a great idea to get some carbs in with the protein, and I figured fruit to be the best, better to keep that stuff for morning and anytime away from workout then I guess.

Fruit's not soooo bad lol! A piece is fine, but you want more glucose/glucose polymer, to be sure. Eat the fruit pre-workout - nothing wrong with topping up liver glycogen a little before you start training. Stuff like potassium and vitamin C preworkout won't do you any harm, either.
