REAL LIFE: Man Attacks Roommate With Replica 'Wolverine' Claws

After learning that his best friend/rommmate was dating his mother, a 19 year old Vernal, Utah, man allegedly attacked his rommmate with a replica set of 'Wolverine' claws!

Kristofer Ryan Huff, 19, has been charged with aggravated assault after attacking his roommate with replica 'Wolverine' claws. According to KSL.com, Huff used a knife and a replica set of the claws [pictured in the video report] on his 20 year old friend after learning that his mother is dating him. Really! She too ended up being stabbed in the arm as she tried to restrain her son, although the roommate suffered far more serious injuries. "(The alleged victim) sustained probably five to six wounds to his head, and then two to his arm, multiple defense wounds on his hands and then one real deep wound to his thigh," Vernal Police Sgt. Vance Norton told the site.

Woman missing for 5 days found alive in freezer | US National Headlines | Comcast

TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Police say a Tulsa woman missing since Saturday has been found alive in a deep freezer, where she apparently hid during severe storms over the weekend.
Tulsa police officer Jillian Roberson says the 59-year-old woman was found Wednesday morning after worried relatives went to the woman's apartment complex in search of her. She was transported with frostbite on her legs to a Tulsa hospital, where she is listed in fair condition.
Roberson says authorities believe the woman climbed into the freezer to seek shelter during last week's round of severe storms that hit the Tulsa area, but couldn't get out once the storms had passed.

LA chef admits cooking wife's body | General Headlines | Comcast

A chef on trial Tuesday for his wife's murder told sheriff's investigators that they couldn't find his wife's body because he had cooked it for four days in boiling water until little was left but her skull.

Los Angeles Superior Court jurors heard David Viens make the statements in a recorded interview with sheriff's investigators that was played in court during his murder trial.
"I just slowly cooked it and I ended up cooking her for four days," Viens could be heard saying on the recording, according to the Los Angeles Times ( L.A. chef told police he slow-cooked his wife's body for days - latimes.com ).

Viens gave detectives the interview as he lay in a hospital bed in March 2011, after leaping off an 80-foot cliff in Rancho Palos Verdes when he learned he was a suspect in the late 2009 disappearance of his wife, Dawn Viens, 39, whose body was never found.

Viens, whose injuries from the leap have him attending his trial in a wheelchair, said in the interview that he stuffed his wife's body in a 55-gallon drum of boiling water and kept it submerged with weights.
He said he mixed what remained after four days with other waste, dumping some of it in a grease pit at his restaurant in Lomita, and putting the rest in the trash.

He said the only significant thing left was his wife's skull, which he stashed in his mother's attic at her home in Torrance. But a search of the house turned up nothing, nor did an excavation of the restaurant.
On the recording played in court, sheriff's Sgt. Richard Garcia asked Viens what happened on Oct. 18, 2009, the night his wife disappeared.

"For some reason I just got violent," he said

I watched this video yesterday or a day before on some news channel. Its a miracle. What a serious accident it was and a very lucky guy that driver is, who escaped from such a serious accident without any injury.
