A different thread on overtraining got me to wondering about the recover time necessary for smaller muscle groups vs. larger muscle groups.
For instance, let's compare quads vs. biceps. Since the biceps are a much smaller group of muscles compared to quads, you're stressing fewer muscle fibers when you work them. For that reason, do biceps require less time to recover and repair themselves? (Assuming both muscle groups have been pushed to their absolute limit.)
