My arms have always turned beat red when I do curls. Should this be happening? Like I said before I just started lifting again after stopping 2 years ago, and even then this occured. Also my triceps have always developed faster than my biceps have, and this, as well as the ridiculous redness, is leading me to believe that I'm doing something wrong.

good..your tri's are 3/4 of your arms

do you think my arms get that red when I work bi's because I'm emphasising too much of a pump and not "shocking" the muscles enough?

are you holding your breath during your curls? ....reps when doin em?

Do you get a red face too? I'm wondering whether its to do with having a pale complection of something like that? :hmmm:

I get a "port wine stain" blotch over my right bicep - quite large. Disappears within 20 minutes. I never get "red all-over".

Breathing efficiently is the hardest skill to master for me. I'm inclined to believe that's all it is.

I was thinking...blood flow to the arms (?) And the reason why you notice it is, well, theyre your biceps. Biceps and your forearms you can see right up close without a mirror. I am guessing its nothing.

red is better than blue;)

My legs get red when i run.

i used to get the red blotch on my biceps about a year ago when i started to get into more serious lifting. now i dont get it anymore. probably has something to do with blood circulation.

No face doesn't get red. I have a decent complection so I'm not pale but also not dark, just a heathly mean so it's not like I'm noticing more blood rushing throughout everywhere when I lift. It's just my arms when I work my bi's. The only reason I'm really worried about it is because I feel like I'm wasting my time because they take sooo long for me to notcie gains and I feel like I'm doing something wrong. usually I do 3 sets of 8 but within the next few weeks i'm planning on higher weight lower reps.

do you feel the workout pains?

I'm not pushing against anything, I feel fatigue, not really pain, and I do progress in other areas

why not try doing different curling methods? or does it happen with each way?

After biceps I always get tiny red spots showing up afterwards. Not like a pimple or boil but red marks that seem to be under the skin. I take it as a sign that I've had a great workout but I have also always wondered the reason why and if this is maybe a bad sign.

it happens no matter what bicep exercise I'm doing. Do you think that the NO2 might be a factor in all of this?
