What is everyone's resting heart rate?
especially if you considered to be an athlete?

Mine is 60. Im not really an athlete other than pick up games whenever and lifting weights.

I certainly wouldn't consider myself an athlete - 62-65bpm, assuming I'm not on clen.

Hi Sara, I took mine last week and it's 69-70, and I am ( obviously) not an athlete. :lol Then again I haven't been doing any cardio for 8 weeks now.....

After cardio today.. 10 minutes after I had the HR monitor on and my HR was still 99

sometimes I get my heart rate up to 182 during high intensity cardio

I've been doing 2 hrs of cardio per day for 2 years. Mine is 42 before strength training was added 6 months ago it was 38. Total weightloss of 173 lbs.

48 beats per minute. I've run about 8-16 miles a week for the past 2 years.

isn't 48 really really low? mine was like mid 30's and then went into mid 20's when I was sleeping and I was about to have a heart attack

I seem to do ok :)

52, and I have surpassed my theoretical max (220-age) by 10bpm during sprints.

60, I do light cardio 3-4 times a week. Years ago when I ran 30-35 miles a week, my resting pulse rate was 36... A pulse can be too low. In the Air Force, a pilot's RPR needs to be above a certain number (not sure what it is). When pulling high G's, too low of a pulse can cause you to pass out. When mine was 36, I was lying down on a couch for an extended period, I stood up too quick, and I almost blacked out!

avg. about 25 miles running, 75 miles biking, 3 miles swimming and 3 hours of weights a week.
